Kombucha is a fermented tea that has been enjoyed for its wonderful health benefits for thousands of years. It is said to have originated in the Far East where the first recorded use was in China, circa 221 BC. It was known as "the tea of immortality". It is likely to have spread to places like Russia along with tea on the Silk Road. This product has quickly gained popularity in the UK in recent years and is gaining more popularity all over Europe.


At Kombucha Shack, we handcraft our kombucha in small batches according to ancient tradition. We use ethically sourced,  high quality tea, infuse only natural ingredients, spring water, organic unrefined sugar and use a kombucha culture colloquially known as a SCOBY - Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria & Yeast. During the fermentation process the sweet tea is transformed into a beverage that is low in residual sugar with a distinct tart flavour.

We also make our own delicious cordials for the use in our Spritzer line of products. Each flavour pairing has been carefully thought out, tried and taste tested over 100 times before releasing them for public consumption.


Our goal is to provide a beverage that everyone can enjoy and potentially attain added health benefits. We believe in attention to detail, using only the best, hand selected ingredients with no shortcut methods.
